My clever eco-tourism business owner friend, and charismatic and eccentric MD of a recycling company making Process Engineered Fuel finally managed to meet-up in KL. It had taken me a year to arrange, and am happy we met. I left the discussion motivated, but realistic about what as an engineer is possible to do with ocean plastic. Stop it at source, and bury the rest was seen as the best way to reduce load and use properly designed landfills to manage carbon sequestration, the best greenhouse gas abatement solution here in Malaysia.
