Kruger National Park drilling water wells in areas struggling with drought. Where an animal would have perished, thus keeping the populations in natural check, now with easy access to water, the population would grow, (during a time when the population was naturally expected to fall). for the benefits of tourists to have additional water sources in places where easy access to water is not available.
Philosophy is now to allow the dry areas to remain in this state and therefore control populations.
